Our story
Built by an engineer who ranks what he builds.
Gspikes started in 2018 with a simple frustration: development agencies built websites that couldn't rank, and SEO agencies sold rankings for websites they couldn't fix. Our founder was living on both sides — shipping production code as an engineer by day, and studying why some sites won Google while others vanished.
So Gspikes was built around one idea: software and search are one problem. The people who write your code understand crawl budgets and Core Web Vitals; the people who run your SEO can open a pull request. One senior team, both disciplines, zero handoffs.
Today we build and rank sites for clients across eight countries — from local service businesses to enterprise Drupal platforms — and we publish our methods openly on our blog.

Meet the founder
Shaker Abady,
engineer turned strategist.
Shaker Abady is the founder and CEO of Gspikes, where he leads every engagement personally. He started out as a full-stack engineer (Laravel, PHP) before becoming an SEO strategist, a rare combination that shapes how every project he touches gets built: the software AND the growth engine that scales it.
Before running Gspikes full-time, Shaker was the SEO Manager at Chain Reaction — one of the region's largest digital agencies. Earlier, he led marketing at HLM Media Group, worked as an SEO Specialist at JYards, and shipped production software as a backend engineer at Forbes. He began his career with two years as a Developer at Orange — where he first cut his teeth on production systems. He graduated from the Orange Coding Academy and has been writing code professionally since 2016.
His hands-on experience across the entire digital stack — from API design to keyword strategy — is why he treats software and SEO as one problem, not two.
