HVAC lead generation with calls that are yours alone.

HVAC lead generation through Google Ads and Local Service Ads that we run in your accounts, for US heating and cooling companies that want booked calls this season. Every lead comes from your own ads, goes only to you, and is tracked from the click to the booked job.

  • Local Service Ads
  • Exclusive leads
  • Call tracking

Why HVAC ad budgets produce fewer calls than they should.

Four ways HVAC companies pay for clicks and leads that never become booked jobs. Each one shows up in an account review.

  1. 01

Clicks from people who will never book

Without a maintained negative keyword list, an HVAC campaign pays for clicks on searches like "hvac jobs", "hvac school", "how to fix my ac myself" and parts lookups. Few of those people will book a service call, and together they can quietly take a large share of the budget.

  2. 02

    Leads sold to several contractors

Many lead services sell one homeowner's request to several companies at once. You pay for the lead, then race other contractors to call back first, and the homeowner hears from all of you. You also build nothing: the ads, the data and the search history belong to someone else.

  3. 03

    Calls nobody can trace

Many HVAC customers would rather call than fill out a form. If calls are not tracked to the campaign, keyword and ad that produced them, Google Ads bids for clicks instead of jobs, and you cannot tell which spend produced booked work and which only produced bills.

  4. 04

    Wrong area, wrong landing page

By default, Google Ads can show your ads to people who have only shown interest in your area, not just people in it. Send those clicks to a homepage instead of a page for the service and town, and many of them never had a chance of becoming a booked job.

The deliverable

What an HVAC ad landing page needs to turn clicks into calls

Sending paid clicks to a homepage wastes them. This is the layout we use for every service and town page behind an ad.

6 components, every page

1

Headline that matches the ad

Someone who clicked "Same-Day AC Repair in Mesa" lands on that exact promise, not a generic welcome message.

2

Tracked call button above the fold

A tap-to-call button visible without scrolling, using a tracking number that ties each call to its campaign and keyword.

3

Map of the area you cover

A map of your service area that matches the ad's location targeting, so visitors see straight away that you come to them.

4

Hours that match the ad schedule

If the ad runs at 9 p.m., the page says someone answers at 9 p.m. Mismatched hours lose the call.

5

Photos from real local jobs

Your own techs, trucks and installed equipment in the area. Stock photos make you look like every other ad.

6

Reviews near the searcher

A few short reviews from customers in nearby towns, placed next to the call button where people decide.

The fix

Paid search for HVAC companies, run in your accounts and measured in booked jobs.

Every retainer is built around the verticals it serves. Below is the work — and we'll tell you on the audit call which of these actually move the needle for your situation.

  • Google Ads search campaigns split by job type: emergency repair, system replacement, installs and maintenance plans
  • Local Service Ads setup and management: verification, job types, service area, budget and disputes for invalid leads
  • Landing pages for each service and town, with a headline that matches the ad and a tracked call button
  • Negative keyword lists built before launch and updated from the search terms report every week
  • Location targeting limited to people in your service area, not people who only show interest in it
  • Call tracking on every ad and page, with booked jobs sent back to Google Ads so bidding learns from real jobs
  • Budgets planned by season: more before the first heat wave and cold snap, less in the shoulder months
  • Ad accounts, tracking numbers and landing pages in your name, so every lead belongs to you alone

The searches we bid on first.

Your customers' searches, not ours. Repair and emergency terms come first because those callers book the same day; installs follow once every call is tracked. Monthly US searches from Ahrefs (October 2026).

Why us, for this vertical

What we bring that the generic agency down the street doesn't.

Shared lead services sell one homeowner's request to several contractors, and some agencies run ads you never see. These are the four things we do differently for HVAC companies.

Exclusive leads, never resold

We do not sell leads. We run ads for your company in your accounts, so every call and form comes to you alone. No other contractor gets the same homeowner, and you are not racing anyone to call back.

Measured in booked jobs

Call tracking and your CRM show which calls became booked jobs. We send those back to Google Ads, report cost per booked job by campaign, and move budget toward what books work, not what gets clicks.

Landing pages built for each ad

Each campaign points at a page built for that service and area, with the headline from the ad, your hours and a tracked call button. We test one change at a time and keep what produces more calls.

Budgets that follow the weather

HVAC demand moves with the season and the forecast. We plan spend around cooling and heating peaks, raise budgets ahead of heat waves and cold snaps, and pull back in shoulder months so the money goes where the calls are.

FAQ

Got questions?

The same questions every prospect asks. Don't see yours? Tell us — answers within one business day.

Ask us anything

Are the leads exclusive, or shared with other contractors?

Exclusive. We do not sell leads. Lead generation, for us, means running Google Ads and Local Service Ads for your company in your own accounts, so every call and form goes to your phone line and inbox only. Shared lead services sell one homeowner's request to several companies at once; with your own ads, the homeowner chose you.

How much should an HVAC company spend on ads?

It depends on your market, the jobs you want more of, how many calls your team can answer, and the season. Click prices for emergency repair and system replacement searches vary a lot from city to city. Our management fee depends on the number of campaigns, landing pages and service areas. The free account review ends with a seasonal budget recommendation and a fixed quote.

How soon will paid ads produce calls?

Search ads can start producing calls soon after launch, once tracking is in place. Local Service Ads come after verification, which includes background, license and insurance checks and can take a few weeks. The first month is mostly learning which search terms waste money and what a booked job costs. We report that number from the first month on.

What is included in ad management?

Account setup or an audit of your existing account, Local Service Ads enrollment, call tracking with booked jobs sent back to Google Ads, landing pages for your main services and towns, negative keyword and location settings, weekly search term reviews, LSA lead disputes, a seasonal budget plan and a monthly report of calls and booked jobs by campaign.

Who owns the ad accounts and the data?

You do. Google Ads and Local Service Ads accounts are set up in your company's name and ad spend is billed to your card, with us added as managers. Tracking numbers and landing pages are yours too. If you stop working with us, the campaigns, history and conversion data stay with you.

How do I choose an HVAC lead generation company?

Ask four questions. Are the leads shared or resold to anyone else? Is the ad account in your name? Do reports show booked jobs, or only clicks and leads? Can you see the search terms report? If a company will not show you the search terms, you cannot see what you are paying for.

Should I use Google Ads or Local Service Ads?

Usually both. Local Service Ads sit at the top for many HVAC searches and charge per lead rather than per click, which suits urgent repair calls. Search ads give more control over keywords, landing pages and schedules, which suits replacements and installs. We run both and compare cost per booked job each month to decide where the next dollar goes.

Do I need SEO as well as paid ads?

Not at first, but usually over time. Ads produce calls while the budget runs; SEO takes months but brings calls without a per-click charge. Many HVAC companies run ads for emergency and install searches while organic rankings grow, then rebalance. Our HVAC SEO service at /services/hvac-seo/ covers the organic side, and the two can share one report.
